But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33
The song 'There's no one,there's no one like Jesus,' is a very good example of a life that searches everywhere,looks and turns everywhere but can never be satisfied by what is there.
We tend to look for answers about our lives in the wrong places,which then takes us a long time to find fulfillment and life becomes difficult.
The above scripture is there to remind us to seek the Kingdom of God first above all else in this world.This is because the kingdom of God is where the good treasure is and it is always fulfilling when we find it.
Reflect on the above scripture this week.Ask yourself,'what have I been seeking after?'
Prayer:
Lord help me to seek the kingdom of God so that I can know You more.I desire to be close to You and learn from Your ways. Help me to know how to live according to Your will in Jesus Christ's name.Amen.
