Thoughts on Romans 8:28
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
Our God is a good God and He is never caught by surprise because of how our lives turn out.He is in the business of doing his children good.Even the heathen experience His goodness,when they lay down on their beds and awake to see a new day.
The scripture above serves as a reminder and reassurance that in all things,be it good or bad,God is working all things for our good.He will make the best out of the worst experiences in our lives.
We can choose to trust in His mighty able hands to come through for us or, we can choose to give up and live a miserable life. It is a choice everyone has to make.Even in that dark time,I want to encourage you to hold on to God's promises,because He is able to make things work for your good and for His name to be glorified.
Prayer: My Father my Lord,I commit all that concerns me in Your able hands.Take care of me and help me in my journey.When all seems lost and I cannot see it,may You help me to remember that You are working all things for my good in Jesus mighty name.Amen.
