The one thing I have discovered about life so far is the importance of process. When we are not in charge of a process, we typically do not comprehend what is going on, which can be extremely frustrating and at times discouraging. Take, for example, the shaping of our destiny. By the time we are prepared to enter into our God-given destiny, we will have gone through many seasons and have a testimony to share.
Our God knows everything from the beginning of time to the end of eternity, so He knows there will be periods when we need a safe haven, and He has appointed Himself to be that safe haven because if it were left to man, it would never work.
My mother once told me, "When gold is referred to as fine gold, it has gone through a process of purification and every impurity has been removed; and just as that gold is purified, so it is with us when God takes us through the process of making us vessels of honour that He can use; and until that happens, we cannot step into the divine calling and succeed because pride can be a major problem.
Isaiah 48:10-11 says “Look I have refined you, but not like silver; I have purified you in the furnace of affliction. For my own sake, Yes, for my own sake! I’m doing it; indeed, how can I be profaned? Furthermore, I won’t give my glory to another.”
The dictionary defines "dross" as "things that are damaging, total loss, or worthless," thus even after we have been purified, we still need to be polished to remove the dross. ”Remove the dross from the silver, and a silversmith can produce a vessel; Proverbs 25:4
The process of life is the one thing that should not be rushed. This is true in all parts of life. For a baby to become an adult, there is a process. For a student to become an employee, there is a process. Rushing does not help anybody at all.
We may not enjoy the process of life, but when we look back on the fruits of our labour, we will be grateful that we put in the effort. Jesus had to go through the process of teaching about the Kingdom of God and the process of dying so that you and I can have a second chance to be called the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Just remember that Jesus Christ is a strong tower that you can run to no matter what you are going through. Proverbs 18:10.
Trust in Him even in the worst of situations, since He alone holds the solution that can sustain you even when man fails.
Psalm 62:5-12 –“I depend on God alone; I put my hope in him. He alone protects and saves me; he is my defender, and I shall never be defeated. My salvation and honour depend on God; he is my strong protector; he is my shelter. Trust in God at all times, my people. Tell him all your troubles, for he is our refuge. Human beings are all like a puff of breath; great and small alike are worthless. Put them on the scales, and they weigh nothing; they are lighter than a mere breath. Don't put your trust in violence; don't hope to gain anything by robbery; even if your riches increase, don't depend on them. More than once I have heard God say that power belongs to him and that his love is constant. You yourself, O Lord, reward everyone according to their deeds.”
Go through the process of your life, spend time reading and meditating on God's word, and keep your faith. Eventually, things will change, the seasons will work in your favour, and everyone will know that there is a God who can change names and situations. He is the mastermind of your life, and He knows how to make something new out of all the broken pieces.
