Thoughts on Romans 8:18
I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. Romans 8:18
We need patience when it comes to what God has promised us. Life may bring with it many afflictions that can wear us down, but there is hope in Christ.
Our sufferings are just for a moment. They shall soon come to pass. How we live through them is what matters because they cannot compare to the glory that shall be revealed in us when Christ comes.
He will surely come, though it seems like it is taking long, hang in there and do not let the Devil rob you of your reward by giving up. You have more on your side than against you. It may not seem that way, but He is for you, so just stand still and let Him do good work in you.
My prayer for you:
I speak to the lives of readers, that You oh Lord will strengthen them now as sufferings have made them weary. Uphold them with Your mighty hand and may they experience Your peace that knows no understanding. May they wait in the hope of Your glory and not give up in Jesus Christ’s name. Amen.
