A generous soul will prosper, and he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed.”

Being generous is an act of kindness which is one of the fruit of the Holy Spirit. There is no selfishness when one is being generous because they are giving from their heart.
A good deed always brings benefits to the giver because that is the order of giving from God, He rewards a generous person.
How about you look at ways you can show generosity unto others this week? Then watch God multiply what you just gave out. That is how it works, there are returns from God, so do not hoard when you can give and bless another person.
Prayer: Thank You Lord God for teaching us to give. May we be generous with what you have blessed us with, so that we can be a blessing unto others and Your name be glorified. Help us to show Your amazing love to others who need to experience Your love through our giving in Jesus Christ’s name. Amen.
