Thoughts on 1 Corinthians 2:10
But God has revealed it to us by the Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 1 Corinthians 2:10
The race of man is a very curious one. This has been going on since the first man Adam fell. We are always searching. Making matters worse, after the fall of the first man Adam, we began searching for a new thing, IDENTITY.
For us to understand anything in this world, we need the Spirit of God who reveals and teaches us only the truth. All our searching in this life will be in vain if we do not have, the Spirit of God helping us find ourselves in Christ Jesus.
He searches all things even the deepest things of God, there is nowhere He does not search even the secret things we do thinking no one can see or know. Today is a good place to start by asking the Lord Jesus to come into your life and be the Lord of everything you are.
Prayer: Holy Spirit of God, search me and reveal to me what is not Christ-like. Help me to have a repentant heart and to draw near to my Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.
