Plead for God's Justice

Satan is our accuser in the courts of heaven day and night (Revelation 12:10). Unrepentant hearts open doors that allow Satan to find legal right to accuse us and harass us. Many things happen because of sins, transgressions and iniquity that is present in our lives. As we pray, let us repent and ask for cleansing of anything filthy in us. In this way, we receive forgiveness of all of Satan's allegations, and he no longer has a legal right to interfere with our lives. Just as the unjust Judge gave justice against the adversary who harrassed the persistent widow, so will our just God give us justice when we call out to Him Luke 18:1-8.

Many times we go to the battlefield first instead of first going to the just Judge. This widow understood that it was a waste of time to keep fighting with her adversary. She knew her relief from torment could only come from presenting her case to the Judge. When Haman determined to destroy the Israelites, Esther could have chosen to approach the King given that she had found favour with him, but instead, she presented her case to God, the just Judge, through fasting Esther 4:16.

When God the just Judge is on your side, favour follows you, and you can stand before anyone. Intercessors need to change how we pray and approach the Just Judge first before going out for battle. It starts in the courts of heaven. As Satan goes to accuse us, Jesus Christ, our advocate, is there to fight for us. His powerful blood is also there to cleanse us of every sin, iniquity and transgressions in us and our bloodline. When this happens, we receive justice against our adversary. May we learn always to present our cases to the just Judge.

Prayer Holy Spirit give me the confidence to approach God's throne of grace so that I may receive mercy and find grace to help me in my time of need. Hebrews 4:16
