James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 1. Submission When a person is submitted to God, they bear fruit and do God’s will, glorifying Him in the process. He leads us and shows us great things we did not know. When you allow the devil to take over, he goes all the way and he has no boundaries. Satan is more than happy to use those who want to cause chaos, well he is a father of chaos, but God is the God of order and peace.
The reason we see too much injustice in the world is that there are persons who do not value their souls and have given themselves over to the devil’s use. These are individuals who have no regard for anything. This is wickedness and evil because God created everyone in His image. 2. Know That Every Life Matters The moment you start looking at someone and think you are better than them and they are inferior, know you have lost your course in life. No one is better than God and every life matters whether it is of a different race, a newborn, a woman, or a girl or even a man. Every life matters and whoever takes away any life and remains unrepentant will receive the wages of their sins which is death,(Romans 6:23) For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. I did not say it scripture does and it is the truth.
3. Always Speak The Truth In The Scriptures The word of God is truth and as we live in this truth, the devil has no place but to leave. Each time the devil knocks on the door of our minds, let us remember to speak the truth and rebuke his words. Prayer: I surrender everything to You Lord by choosing to obey Your commands. I understand that those who love You are the ones who obey Your commands therefore, I will not listen to what the devil instructs. Amen.
