It is the confidence – conviction, reliance on what we hope for. Faith is that thing that you feel very sure that it will not fail. It is being certain that someone or something will not fail, and the assurance is knowing without a doubt that whatever we are hoping for will come through.
When we are faced with difficult situations and there seems to be no answer to our circumstances, this confidence is what helps us keep standing in faith. We must believe that God will come through even when it seems like everything has come to an end.
Nothing in this world is permanent. Everything that has a beginning has an end. The question is, what do you do between the beginning of that season in your life and the end of it? Do you give up or do you hold on to your faith in the God who redeems and your life in His hands?
Prayer: Lord Jesus, You are my confidence, my hope and my tomorrow. I relinquish my life to You today. You are my yesterday, today and tomorrow and my times and seasons are in Your hands. Help me to keep holding on to my faith in You and not let go at any time. Give me strength and the grace to go through this season in my life in Jesus Christ’s name I praise you in advance because I know You are working out all things for my good even in this season. Amen
