When someone does something whether good or bad,we normally say they deserve this or that kind of treatment or reward.And I think that is the way we have been raised to think,that there is a reward for doing something.This does not only happen in the natural but also in the supernatural.There is a reward for a deed whether good or evil.
The one thing that amazes me most is the one thing called grace.The writer of the song ‘Amazing grace’ must have tapped into something that most people who sing the song do not understand.Grace being the unmerited favour of God is the most amazing and blessed thing we could receive as believers.
Grace qualifies us where we are most unqualified. It opens doors where without it,we could not get through. It is by the grace of the Lord we are saved.’For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God,’Ephesians 2:8.Just think about this,Christ Jesus as the second of the Trinity came down to earth.He left His Kingly glory to be humbled as dust because His love for human beings is so great but there was no reciprocity.
With all manner of sin that was going around then,He reached out and is still reaching out today in many ways.He taught about His Kingdom and making known to all who listened that He is the only Way,but very few listened.
He went through all manner of injustice so we can receive justice from captivity of sin.’He was despised and rejected--a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care,’Isaiah 53:3.All this happened because He is grace,He is love,He is Salvation,’He is the Way ,the Truth and the Life.’Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”John 14:6.
We did not deserve it to be forgiven but He did it anyway because God the Father loves us and His will is to reconcile the lost souls to him through Jesus Christ His Son.His grace is amazing and it made provision for mankind to be saved, Romans 3:22-24.
Today I want to let you know that there is an answer to your wanderings,there is a healer who can heal you if you cry to Him,there is peace to still the storms in your life,there is satisfaction,joy and love unfailing in Jesus Christ. Do not let yourself live in fear,guilt,shame,hate,failure,hurt,resentment or no forgiveness anymore.Just reach out to Him and receive the amazing grace of God that will set you free as you believe in Him.He will surely change the course of your life only if you give yourself to Jesus Christ.He loves you and does not want anyone to perish.Make the decision today and ask His forgiveness.He will hear and forgive you.Remain blessed.
