God Holds The Answers

Thoughts on Genesis 41:15-16

And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I have had a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it. I have heard it said of you that when you hear a dream you can interpret it.” Joseph answered Pharaoh, “It is not in me; God will give Pharaoh a favorable answer.” Genesis 41:15:16

It takes humility to tell a king or any other person that you are not the one with the answers. Giving credit to God or another person is something we need to practice in our lives.

Joseph knew that there was no way on earth; he could interpret the king’s dream. He shifts the focus from him and directs it to God.

God is the one who holds the answers to dreams and anything else in our lives. If we truly seek Him to know the truth, we will find Him and receive the answers we seek. Try Him today in faith and see what happens.

Prayer: You oh Lord God have the final say in my life. I submit all I am to You for Your glory. Teach me Your ways that I may teach others too of who You are in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
