Do You Not Perceive It?

Key Test: Isaiah 43:18-19

Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. Isaiah 43:18-19

Breakthroughs in anything happen to those who do not hold on to the past. A woman in labour can only have relief when she bears her child. If she keeps holding back, she will kill the child because she is afraid to let go of the expired season of pregnancy.

Lot’s wife did not know how to move on from the past. She looked back to see what she was leaving, and she became a pillar of salt. Genesis 19:26 But Lot’s wife, from behind him, [foolishly, longingly] looked [back toward Sodom in the act of disobedience], and she became a pillar of salt. (AMP)

When God starts opening doors for you, He usually does it in ways we can contain what He

is doing. 1 Samuel 16:1 The Lord said to Samuel, “How long will you grieve for Saul when I have rejected him asking over Israel? Fill your horn with oil and go; I will send you to Jesse the Bethlehemite, for I have chosen a king for Myself among his sons.” (AMP).

1 Corinthians 13:9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part [for our knowledge is fragmentary and incomplete]. He will reveal in part, and we need to embrace whatever it is with faith and an open heart. More like I believe and receive this new season or like Mary said, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.” Luke 1:38.

God calls us to let go of the past and embrace the new things He is doing. No one can see unless their eyes are open. May the Lord give you insight into what He is doing in your life. He is always doing new things, and seasons have changed. The Almighty God is asking, do you not perceive it?

My Prayers you:

  • May the Holy Spirit give you the wisdom to position, so you do not miss the move of God.

  • As the seasons shift in the spirit realm, may you grasp it and receive your breakthrough in the name of Jesus Christ. May your faith arise so that you do not give up before your time of breakthrough.

  • Instead of striking the ground with your arrows three times, I pray that the Holy Spirit will enable you to strike the ground until it is appropriate to stop (2 Kings 13:18).

Shalom,

Pastor Mary Mwakalu.
