Thoughts on Zechariah 4:6
So he said to me, “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the LORD of Hosts. Zechariah 4:6
When we do things in our own strength, it gets very difficult at some point and we start feeling overwhelmed, the zeal diminishes and we manifest all manner of the flesh to everyone and everything around us. Life then becomes unbearable and frustrating and most of the times people lose their way.
However, there is another way and that is Jesus way. When we allow the Holy Spirit of God to take control of our lives, things begin to work for our good. We then live a fulfilling life because we are not doing it from our strength but from the power of the Spirit of God.
Today ask the Lord Jesus to help you live life His way and not your way. You will be surprised how beautiful your life will be.
Prayer: My strength, skills, gifts, and everything in this life may fail me, but You oh Lord will never fail me. I choose today to let You have Your way in me and lead me by Your Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
