Abundance In God’s Presence

The presence of the Lord is a powerful place to be. It is an atmosphere of unceasing abundance. There is fullness of the goodness of God to His beloved faithful children. Whenever we are going through life’s storms, we are to lean on the Lord’s wisdom and direction. He is our strength  (see Isaiah 40:19) He gives strength to the weary and increases the power. There is great peace and joy when we approach God with open hearts.

There is great peace and joy when we approach God with open hearts.

The Apostle Paul a man who had a thorn in his flesh, was arrested most of his life and even beaten did not give up but continued pressing on. We read his exhortation to believers in Corinth (2 Corinthians 4:16) So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. The devil’s plan has always been to make us give up and question God, but the above scripture tells us to not give up.

We must remember that it is not about us but the purpose of God at work in us. He who created each one of us says in Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. This is a promise for every believer and it is enough to encourage us amid adversity that God will come through. We are renewed day by day 2 Corinthians 4:16 when we remain in His presence. A time is coming where persecution will be so rampant and whoever is not in the presence of God will suffer greatly and give up easily.

We are renewed day by day when we remain in His presence.

The word of God never lies and as we have already seen in years past and this present age, believers are subjected to hostile treatment for just talking about the truth in the scriptures. The Lord is always ahead of us in everything and it is of paramount importance to acknowledge Him in all our ways (see Proverbs 3:5-6 )Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. We overcome and win in this life through Jesus Christ. Prayer: Thank You, Lord, for the strength and grace You give so we can run our race victoriously. I surrender all to You so that You can lead me. I decree and declare that I shall not lose heart regardless of what comes my way. I shall live in Your strength and power and because of who You are, my inner self is renewed day by day. I am strong, courageous, and of good cheer because my help comes from You oh Lord. In Jesus Christ’s name, I pray. Amen.
